Heritage 1948 supply a Superior Quality Range of British Made Hood Sticks Sets and Component Parts to fit many variations of Land Rover Hoods.
The Centre / Interim Hood Stick is the central Hood Stick universally fitted to all LWB Land Rover Series and Defender vehicles from 1958 - 2016, fitted to both full & 3/4 Tilts LWB Hoods. For clarity on its exact position & use, please see the ‘Exploded' Hood Stick Diagram in the images. Please note that this Interim Hood Stick is not the same as used on the Short Wheel Base range of Series and Defender Land Rovers vehicles and is only used on the Long Wheel Base models. Unlike many of our competitors who produce their Hoods Sticks abroad, all of our Hood Sticks are manufactured right here on Exmoor, Somerset, UK. Shaped by hand operated tooling in the same process the original parts were manufactured, we have selected a High Quality Steel and Low Volume Galvanising to produce the most accurate, period correct Land Rover Hood Stick Sets on the market.
With so many similar Hood Stick component parts, finding the correct Hood Sticks can be confusing. For clarity, please use our ‘Exploded’ parts view with individual product codes, and if in doubt please do not hesitate to contact one of our team.
We also offer a large range of ‘Complete Hood Stick Kits’ with everything you need to convert your hard top Landy to the more favourable soft top. Our kits include everything you need for the conversion, right down to nuts, bolts and washers.
Due to their size, Hood Sticks including the Centre / Interim Hoop do come under large parcel freight (currently £39.50 Inc VAT) for all domestic UK Locations.
