The Hindon 15 Inch Wood Rim by Heritage 1948 has been developed around the classic spirit of the Land Rover and continues our uncompromising commitment to quality aftermarket parts. The Satin Black Anodised Body of the Steering Wheel is forged from durable 6061 Billet Aluminium. This is contrasted by a crafted Beech Wood Rim and finished off with 9 Polished Structural Metal Rivets. A Steering Wheel guaranteed to improve the interior of any Land Rover Series or Defender.

Elite Streamline Boss

For the ultimate driving experience, we recommend pairing the Hindon 15 Inch with our Elite Streamline Boss. Our Elite Streamline Boss has been designed and manufactured in Somerset, England and is our thinnest boss available. Compatible with Land Rover/ Land Rover Defenders from 1983 to 2016, with a boss depth of just 20mm (39mm overall depth). Its ultra-slim design significantly improves the Defender’s driving position when used with our range of steering wheels. The Elite Streamline Boss is available in 36 spline or 48 spline options and can be added when configuring your wheel.

Please note: The Elite Streamline Boss is not compatible with Series Land Rovers. For Series models from 1967 to 1985, please select our Standard Boss.

FITTING:
‍From 1967 - 2016 Land Rover fitted both 36 & 48 Spline Steering Columns. For guaranteed fitment, we would recommend removing you current wheel and counting the splines. Due to the irregular use of both the 36 & 48 spline steering column, it is not possible to determine your spline count by the year model alone.

‍Please note: If fitting to Series Land Rover, a simple modification may be required to attach the automatic indicator cancelling collar to your Boss.

‍Please note: The supplied Boss’ are not suitable for Defender year models 2015 - 2016 or Defenders fitted with Dynamic Stability Control. This is due to a different indicator cancelling arrangement using sockets in the wheel rather than prongs.
